I got as far as the first book of the Shopaholic series and absolutely hated it. Then this picture of Rebecca Bloomwood in her hot pink can can dress came out, my jaws dropped. How can this be the work of Patricia Field, genius costume designer of Sex and The City???

Anyhow I gave in to all the major advertising for the movie and watched it today. I didn't expect this but Isla Fisher, the actress who plays Rebecca Bloomwood, has great comedic timing. I was laughing out loud quite a few times. Go see with your girlfriends, I highly recommend it.
