In LA Times today, was an article on dressing for job interviews in LA. Before this, I was unsure of how much personal style one should exhibit in interviews since the style radar is much higher here. I was already thinking nice dress with fierce shoes.

According to the article, there is no difference in interview dressing here or Singapore. Rule of thumb: When in doubt, choose a suit. One thing that stood out to me though was the need for good manicures and pedicures. Of course we shouldn't have grime under our nails but beyond that I didn't think employers would notice hands and feet much. Is it just me? Good thing I have time to grow out my ragged nails.
